Woo Hoo! - Finally on the ground!
Hey Everybody!
Finally got her rolled out of the shop for the first time in 2 years! Here is my '70 C/10 - wanted to make it to the big gathering on Missouri but a rescheduled race sunk that about a month ago. 355 sb, TCI 4L60E trans, AirRide, Lots of Carbon Fiber (interior and engine bay) really satisfying to see it in the sunshine! This is what I have been calling my "Ford Taurus". Lots of salesmen drive those buckets, I have carefully built her to be reliable as my weekday business transportation. Even if I have had a hard day on the road, it will be great to pull this into the Red Roof among the row of Taurus' Todd Silvey Drag News Magazine www.dragnews.com Last edited by diggertodd; 07-03-2007 at 05:01 PM. |

Re: Woo Hoo! - Finally on the ground!
Looks sweet - really dig the paint. Being with Drag News is it safe to assume the truck will get after it on the strip?

Re: Woo Hoo! - Finally on the ground!
Nice truck Todd (we need more pictures though!). I to, drive my truck daily. And I agree, the stresses of the day kinda melt away on the ride home.

Wheels, tires and stance are spot on. The rest of the truck looks good too.

Hey Todd,
Could you tell me where you got your mirrors from? Any specs (size/shape)that you have for these, I would appreciate it. Do you like how they mount? Thanks, Adam |

Re: Woo Hoo! - Finally on the ground!
NICE, really nice. I know how you feel about getting it back on the ground, I just got my 68 roadworthy after 6 years. Although my truck is a total heap compared to what you've got, I'm sure we both have the same sort of feeling.
Congrats.
