all the tranny guys i ever talked to always said to go with transgo..but i've had 2 350 turbo's with trans go's and hated both of them..they both seemed to shift a split second after i banged the shifter..the b&m's i've had always shifted hard and exactly when i hit the shifter

I'm going to give a second to that. All the tranny guys I have ever known swear the Transgo is the way to go but the transgo equipped transmissions I have had shifted like crap. I like the tire chirping B&M shifts . Probably the transgo is easier on the transmission and may in fact shift faster . Driving an automatic is emasculating enough as it is. I'd go with the B&M.

I have a Trans go kit in my 400 t, & like it better than the B&M kits that I have ran inthe past. IMHO, the B&M kits have a very brutal shift even in the lower rpm ranges. The transgo is more civil cruising around town, but does get pretty "rowdy" when the revs are up. The old longhorn will lite em up going into pass gear, then lite em up shifting back up......

I like my B&M. Barks the tires with ease.
