Re: how to take off the dash panel ?
The shaft pulls out of the headlight switch. On the switch body (behind the dash) there is a button that needs to be pushed in, which releases the shaft allowing you to pull the shaft and knob out. Then you can unscrew the bezel nut.

Re: how to take off the dash panel ?
ya pull the light switch knob all the way out, to where it is with the lights on.
with one hand, hold the light switch knob, with your other, reach under and push in that button, and hold the button all the way down... you'll feel a click or something. Then, with your other hand pull out the knob. You won't have to pull hard on it, just give it a firm, but gentle pull. To reinstall, you put the knob back into the switch, press in that button and push in the knob. good luck... it was kinda funky for me the first time I tried it also. -W Last edited by Woogeroo; 07-23-2007 at 12:00 AM. |
