My 68 gmc has that little delete plate for the choke. It square and black, with raised chrome GM emblem on it.

Would these be put in trucks in the south? or with automatic chokes?

My 68 CST burb has a choke delete I thought quite unique. It looks like the regular bezel behind the light and wiper knobs but its solid as in no hole for any kind of switch, but still has the two little square indents for the mystery tool GM used to tighten them up.
