Wheel question

I just got some wheels from ridgeback and had to try them on for size. The new 16.5 X 8.25 wheel clearance is less than the stock 15 X 7. It does not touch but it is close as you can see in the pics. Is that OK?

Re: Wheel question

big brother.....
you look fine. the geometry of the tie rod to wheel is not going to change through it's full range of motion. try turning the wheels lock to lock. if nothing touches, your gold.

if it happenes to touch, a simple 1" spacer plate may be in order.

Re: Wheel question

Not only That but if you are closer on one side than the other ...You are gonna have to change some Ball Joints. I had to because My Tie rods where rubbing on the tire till I changed them .... I couldn't do anything until they where changed.
