front axle width between leaf springs

i am looking to find out which axle you have and the width between the leaf springs.
am looking for an axle with a 60" WMS distance and the ability to use leaf springs that are 26" center-to-center. i have a real narrow 1950 truck frame that i want to add a solid disc brake front axle of the 3.30-3.42 ratio with manual locking hubs and a 205/208/231 case.

state your axle(stock uncut) brand and size and ratio(stock or mod) and width measured from center of drivers side leaf spring to center of pass side leaf spring.

Dunno what side drop your loiok for, but Early Broncos are close to that, and driver drop. WMS is around 58-59", early 70s up to 75 are drum brake, but easily convervted over to disc. Also they are coil sprung, but the wedges are welded on, so some time with a grinder and thier off. Once they are off, you can mount the perch anywhere.

If you need a pass drop, then Jeep is the only thing that I can think off....

actually dont care which drop but the 208 case im looking at is pass side like fullsize chevy... must be disc... or CHEAP conversion. perches dont matter as long as i can fit 24" between springs and not hit pumpkin...

you choices are going to be slim with out doing some cuting and cutome axles.

The only way to not have the front tires sticking out you would have to do a custom axle,any swap from any type make will be to wide even from a jeep witch is the narrowest.
A custom axle wouldn't be that bad to do.You could start with a stock passenger side axle ( to match your transfer case ) and you need to just shorten the long axle tub and one axle. It might not cost as much you would think.
I've narrowed a few rears for racing.
