I finally got some more cash, I need fenders!
Im looking for strait, rust free, dent/ding free GM fenders for a 79 chevy pickup. That means any front fenders from a 73-80 should fit. Dont want reproduction unless its certifyed GM stuff.

fenders
Tom, my ole friend from Az. that GM cert. crap don't mean anything in my dealings with them. it's either GM and does fit or Taiwan and well -- you know. . I have tried a few of the goodmark items and It's still 50/50. DAVE

Hey Dave!
Thanks for the heads up. I thought goodmark stuff would be quality. I cannot find a single good panel in any junkyard around here, and nobody seems to have any for sale online. So it looks like Im going to have to go the goodmark route. We'll see what happens

local buy
try to get local purchase, otherwise, you gonna eat up cash on freight.
doesn't member "desert rat" have fenders and such on occassion? might look him up, he might have something on hand. a road trip is cheaper than freight costs! good luck! |

Unfortunatley desert rat has stoped getting parts for 73-87s now. I talked to him a while ago and he suggested buying aftermarket units anyways.
That would be great, except nobody in phoenix carrys goodmark stuff. One place does, and they only carry up to 72 model year.
