Wheel guys inside, please...
I have a set of silverado ss wheels and a complete rear end from the same truck. My question is , after i put the rear in my truck, the wheels will fit on the back.
As for the front, will these adapters space them out right? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=024 I really appreciate any help. -Ryan EDIT: My truck is a swb 1/2 2wd.

Re: Wheel guys inside, please...
I think I would use a 6-lug rotor instead of the adapter. ECE (Early Classic Enterprises) sells them for the 63-70 truck owners that are doing a dics brake swap. I don't like adapters. You might have to turn down the "center hub" of the rotors,... since the SS wheels have a smaller center hole than the 73-87 truck wheels.

I have used them before with no problems, but you know it is always in the back of you head that you are on spacers.
Anyhow, if I do the rotor swap and what not, will it push the wheel out where it needs to be?

Re: Wheel guys inside, please...
I think it will be fine. The "track width" of the front is wider than the back already. Spacers would make it wider yet. Just my opinion,... But I think this is a better, (safer) way to go.

Re: Wheel guys inside, please...
Definately, I understand whar you are sying. May even be able to work something out with some bigger brakes.
