body side molding
new to forum and have a 69 cst with the wood grain vinyl body side moldings. Anyone know if I can buy repos in black or should I peel off ? the old vinyl and upgrade to a solid color. Looked for this in FAQ first but I may have missed it. Thanks, Mike

Re: body side molding
Welcome to the 67-72 truck board from West Michigan!
The only available moldings that I am aware of are the ones that fit the trucks. (Doors, front fenders). You can remove the vinyl using a heat gun and repaint. Or new vinyl is available should you want to go back with the woodgrain. Jim

Re: body side molding
I'm pretty sure that LMC, Brothers and others sell all the trim for the Subs. I would check with some of the board venders to see if they sell it, GMC Pauls, Tim C and others. It sure would be cheaper to peel off the wood grain though. That trim is pricey.

Re: body side molding
www.Mar-k.com sells body trim (69-72) at the cheapest price I know. Great quality and it's made in the U.S.A . They are currently running a 10% off sell with free shipping.

Re: body side molding
I think you could get the woodgrain on a Custom Deluxe.

Re: body side molding
my custom delux burb has black in the moulding, and the books show the only way to get woodgrain is cst/cheyenne... but the books have VERY little info on the burbs.

Re: body side molding
if he'd log in and respond, I'd be happy to put it in the correct part of the board.
