Re: Help quick, trans line question. What did you guys use?????
I did a turbo375 swap and ran hardline to a remote cooler mounted in front of the radiator. I just buy premade lines and fittings and bend 'em myself. I dont own a flare tool so I'll clean out the parts store and take back what I dont use.
If you are in a hurry to get it running you could probably do some rubber hoses for awhile; I would not trust them for long though.

Re: Help quick, trans line question. What did you guys use?????
I made my own. I had the same problem, so i went to my local auto parts store, bought 2 steel lines for tranny cooling and a tube bending tool[buy a good one!] and i did it myself. I had NEVER done this before and it requires a lot of patience and a lot of up and down and in and out of the lines. But the result was great, and i am pretty proud. I actually messed up the one line so i purchased another . They only cost me $3 a piece and the tool was $20.Well worth the time , effort and $$$.

Oh, make sure you get the tubing with the correct size fitting, they already come with them. And, make sure you measure the distance between the tranny holes and the radiator holes because the lines come in different lengths. Good Luck. Let us know if you do it and if it works.
