body bushings
Are 4x4 body bushings the same as the 2wd? I found a kit at summit but the application says 4x4. Will this work for me.

Re: body bushings
Don't know about a 2wd but the 4x4's go like this:
Rad support mounts are unlike all the rest 1st position is thicker by about double than the rest. 2nd, 3rd, fourth & fifth position are all the same. Typically, shimming to some degree will be required. |

Re: body bushings
I bought my body mounts from LMC and installed them. very impressed with the individual packaging and complete cross reference to their catalog as to location. Nothing bad to say for stock repro rubber mounts.

Disclaimer: That may not be true with a factory replace bushing. It is true however with the set of polys from Energy Suspension I have here at the shop. |
