Re: blower install
It's just a 290 crate motor.. I got a MSD boost timming controler to help with detination and it's only 8.5:1 so it's not going to be that big of an issue lots of the 3rd gen camaro guys are runing them but they have to put a 4" cowl hood on to fit a tinny air cleaner I got room for the stock one if I wanted lol

Re: blower install
will the water pump pulley even fit on there with the blower belt so closr to the flange on the waterpump? maybe its just the angle the pic is at but it looks real close. or is it not a stock style pulley?
and you sure that stock fuel pump sitting there will be enough? i figure you'd need atleast a nice holley machanical pump if not a electric pump |

Re: blower install
Sounds great......course it's hard getting a true sound of it via a web recording. Your blower sound pretty quiet. When the blower is not being loaded (idle), do you get much gear lash noise? These blowers have straight cut gears and as idle they kinda rattle.....at least mine does, and it's a little older and I wonder it they've changed it on the newer blowers.
Mine also makes that "blower whine" sound when I'm on it which is actually the gears making the noise....gear drive sound. Bet you can't wait to drive it.......or have you?
