Shock Part Number
I am running a CPP ntch and bag kit in my 67 . I have shock relocators . I can't seem to get the correct rear shock hieght/length . Anyone know a specific shock and or model number I could by to stop bottoming out my shocks .
Much appreciated .

Re: Shock Part Number
Have you tried calling CPP and asking them what they use with that kit if any of them have it? Otherwise I would try and call summitracing and tell them how much you lowered the truck and they'll find you some shocks that are the right dimensions, that's what I did when I bagged my c10.

Re: Shock Part Number
CPP shocks are overpriced.
This is some information that another boardmember shared with me (gringoloco), along with some information shared by yet another board member (XXL): (I don't know which part numbers are correct for your application, if anyone can clarify please do! These shocks are supposedly only ~$15/each) Quote:

Re: Shock Part Number
You might want to spend a few extra bucks and get the Sensa-Trac's. I have them on my truck and they work great. As far as your application goes, here is a link to the Monroe application guide... Find your mounting styles, measure your fully compressed and extended lengths and choose your shock from the list.

Ok more digging on the front shocks I think these are the part numbers; Monroe Matics 33033, Sensa Tracs 37049 [I think], Reflex 911049. The reflex ones provide "better stability", I would assume that is just more built in compression damping, but that's just guessing. Last edited by BigSky71; 03-03-2008 at 09:42 AM.
