License Plate Lamps Wont Work
I have no idea what is wrong. I have used a tester grounded to the frame, and there is no power getting to the lights. Any possible ideas? Every other light works. I cant find where the wire goes though.
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it, Jared

Re: License Plate Lamps Wont Work
Most L.P. lights I have seen no working was due to poor grounding. Pull it out, brush it, and stick it back in, IF the bulb Ohm's out ok. If all else fails, run a new wire up to a tail light and tap into the harness. Just be careful not to tap into the brake/turn signal wire....

Re: License Plate Lamps Wont Work

Re: License Plate Lamps Wont Work
The one wire going to the bulb is 12 volts positive, the outside of the bulb lens casing, usually chrome, is the ground. That casing has to be touching the grounded part of the vehicle for it to work.
