a bed of a different kind
My Brother (Tom)is building a 57 trk & is just about done with the exception of the bed. I'd like to see pics. of this series trk. with different beds to give him ideas.

Hi Kim, You bed looks great. My Brother's bed needs restored & instead of doing that I'd like to see him put a non stock bed on it to make it different.

Hey Don, don't mean to hi-jack your thread, but I never did get a chance to find out what you used for a bed for your truck, if it's something mass produced or custom?

Surfer...It's a late model full size Chevy bed. Its been narrored, Fenders narrored & welded on and Caddy fins. Store bought roll pan & tail gate narrored the same amount as the bed. It took 600 hrs.

wow don, that's awesome. Got a shot of it on the truck by chance?
I was tempted to put caddy fins on my bed, but never found the donor fins. Now my truck is in pieces, but I really dig that unique bed! |M| Oh, do you ever go down to moroso?

Moroso.....no I just stick around Central Florida. Mostly the St cloud Thurs nite Sonic cruise. I'll be 70 soon & do not travel well because of RLS.
