Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
Just a tip on your Burb. Your rear bumper looks good... If that thing is sitting out around the shop might want to pull that off and put it up... Burb rear bumpers are not easily found and that one looks good hate to see some one run off with it....
Besides it could be off to the chrome shop while your waiting to get to the rest of it...LOL Looks great... |

Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
That Suburban looks killer! It also has some pretty hard-to-find options. I noticed it has a factory automatic column with a complete deluxe steering wheel and the factory A/C vents. Some guys would kill for that stuff. NICE!

Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
i have to be honest with you guys , i was not aware of the options that the sub had.i spend most of my time with 67-72 stuff so when i saw thw truck for the first time i didn't catch all of the extras.it turns out it had a/c automatic shift ,deluxe sterring wheel, custom trim ,just to name some stuff.it also had a v-8 which is gone . it is also a Ca truck purchased right here in town.so i thought that was kind of cool.and yes that is the original interior. if any of you guys have any info on where i can get replacement interior for it please let me know.Tony ttt

Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
hey Dino, i have a picture of your blk Panel on my screen saver slide show in my office.and every time it pops up i look at and just wonder how you acheived that stance.it looks great definetly one of my favorites. and here are a few others that i am useing for inspiration on this build. you know i find ideas in all kinds of different styles and models of trucks and cars then try to combine them into something that is unique and original at the same time.here are some elements of style that i plan to incorporate in to my design.Tony

Ortegamotor,
Just ask Dino to store it for you for a while, ((see he hates to not dropanddrag things)) for get about it for a few months and then when you go and pick it up, it will already be dragging frame... he'll claim that he doesn't know what came over him.... then he'll tell you he likes it....LOL You have a great start and Dino is definately one of the go to fella's here for info...congrats again.... |
