So my buddy and I decided to take a cruise by the junkyard at lunchtime. I was at the right place at the right time. There was an ugly, rusted out mustard yellow '73 getting prepped for the crusher. The truck was pretty beat up and rusty, but it had a good set of sport mirrors on it and it also had the outer grille brackets that I was needing. My father-in-law was there and he knows all the workers pretty well, so he told them what I wanted so they set it on the ground and they let me at it. Also got the battery hold down bracket....All this for $8!!

SCORE!!!!

Good deal. A lot of the junkyards around me have been jacking up their prices significantly. They also charge you for every little thing, where as before you'd just bring a pile of stuff and the guy in charge of prices would be like $20...$30....whatever looked like a good price for it all.
