Hood Latch

I have taken off my hood to paint the inside and fix some of my dents.
I removed the latch that holds the hood down and after cleaning the grease off it I noticed that the spring was broken that holds the hood down tight. I have had problems in the past with the hood trying to open going down the road and opening half way.
I have tried to find this spring or another latch everywhere but no help.
Can anyone tell me where I can get one or a repair on the spring latch.

Re: Hood Latch

In the classified section there are some threads where guys are parting out trucks. Try one of them.
