Bellflowers on my '62.

I've had these Bellflower tips in the garage for over a year now. I got an Autozone gift card from my brother for my b-day so I went and grabbed some Cherry Bomb glasspacks. Last Wednesday, I talked to one of our mechanics here at work that does some stuff on the side. I told him what I wanted, he gave me a great price and I followed him up to Chimayo, NM that evening. Here's the final product... Sounds great too!!

Re: Bellflowers on my '62.

Great '60s look, JC. I bet they'll be a bear to keep clean though. Wax 'em twice with carnuba at least once a month - It will be much easier to get the road dirt off.

I'm diggin' the other touches too, like Felix and your Route 66 plate. Love the 1960's - I was in El Paso during that decade.

After I finish my 72 (if ever), I'm getting a 4-5-6 for this very reason! Love 'em! Your truck is the perfect example of what I want.

Re: Bellflowers on my '62.

I'd like to know what kind of bumper that is. That would look sweet on my truck.

The pipes are 2 1/2" headers to the mufflers, then 2" mufflers to tips. I had to reduce the pipe size because the mufflers and tips are 2".

Funny. I have a pic of your old truck hung up too... Except in the pic I have, the truck has chrome steelies and the bumper is right side up... Cool!

Actually that is my house............I've been in it for a little over 3 years and the neighborhood is booming. My place is surrounded by million dollar + custom homes, townhouses and live/work studios. It's on it's way to becoming its own self-suficient community complete with its own grocery store. BUT like jchav62 said we are looking to get out of it......we need a more classic truck friendly place. (the garage is built on a slope and doesn't allow for convenient garage parking) It's an awesome neghborhood..........check out the site! www.aldeasantafe.com
