I don't have any pictures of them, but they are different.
Hopefully some one else will post a few pictures. Danny |

Re: motor mount tower location problem on 72
I'm unclear on V8 and I6 mounts as well. In my '67 with a V8 it looks like there are 3 holes on the frame rails and mine are in the front 2. Is that correct? There seems to be plenty of room behind the engine to the firewall to maount it back the 3 inches or so...
Sorry if I'm hijacking ;-) |

Re: motor mount tower location problem on 72
All I know is that I had to modify my stock towers to run a TBI motor, changed to card in my prijecy 72 and rework the mounts. I also heard the 72 mounts are the same....but I made some 68's work just fine.....only with a couple hours worth of work. I couldn't get the other motor tower pic to work, but if you want any info, lemme know.

Re: motor mount tower location problem on 72
Double post....sorry. I took the top 1/3 of each tower and cut then off. I then transposed them and welded them up and everything was good to go. I'm to cheap to spend $130 on tubular mounts. Everything is fine under engine torque and looks fairly stock to boot. Only thing for those in the know. I had to mount them under the frame rail instead of on top for stock TBI manifold clearance. Now I have a good 1/2 inch to the manifolds and all this is in the forward holes.
