Underhood treatment
My hood top vibrates a bit and looks kinda dingy when opened. What is the best thing to glue underneath the hood to cut vibration/sound and yet looks decent?

For the vibration replace your cushions between your braces and the hood. I have these but haven't installed them yet:

Used this on mine......slid it under the braces and used hi temp spray adhesive. Made a huge difference and also shields hood from engine heat. This is the typical stuff that comes in rolls and I also used it under the carpet in the cab.

Be extremely careful when replacing the pads under the braces to insure you don't damage the hood. As you know you have to pry the braces from the hood to remove and insert the padding. Use an extra wide wedge of some kind.

I bought the hood sponges from LMC , but they just fall out. It's like they're not thick enough to fit tight. Not a lot, but enough to fall out. Should I glue them in place?

If you are oing to glue the hood to the braces use Urethane windhsield sealer and then clean the edges up before it sets up. It will hold for a long time.
