Frame Converted

Finally got all the body mounts off the truck frame and onto the suburban frame im using. After cuttin off somewhere around
18-24"(cant remember) off of the tail, it was nearly Identical. Minus the different cab mounts and lack of bed mounts. Moved the center cross member back also, gonna use that for my 4 link im putting in. Check it out. Oh yea, question for you suburban guys. When we tried to flip the frame to work on the other side, obviously it was heavy. Took 3 of us to do it. But the short bed truck frame... I can flip it on my own. Why and what makes the suburban frame so heavy??

Smile Re: Frame Converted

Maybe you were worn out from flipping the other frame first?

Re: Frame Converted

The 66 frames are not that light weight. It takes two to turn mine before, it was no party doing it! Good luck with your project..
