New from Texas City, TX

Hey guys, new to the board. I have an '87 shortbed in the process of having a rebuilt 350 installed, after getting the 305 too hot and cracking a head. I bought this truck for $1000 with the plan of tearing it apart and re-doing it from the ground up, but I think I will do it a little at a time, since I just bought a house and need the use of a truck. This photo makes it look nicer than it is.

I put in short springs, spindles, and a flip kit. I cut the bed and put some Mickeys in there, need to find some (3, I lost one) tubs to cut up and widen and cover them up.

I am also into traditional hot rods, and am on the H.A.M.B. I am building this '41 Dodge from scratch, I have a small block chevy with 6 two barrels for it.

I have a rigid Shovelhead bike project in the works, too.
