Re: New wheel caps need help
I don't think they will fit, I would call Wheel Vintiques. Those caps look to go with the earlier Chevy rally wheels. A standard "Baby Moon" cap would probably fit over the 4 tabs on the inner ring of your wheel. The Summit caps say they "snap-in", the snap-in part concerns me. Your wheels have nothing for them to snap-in and lock on, older rally wheels do.
I'm heading out of town, good luck! Bryan

Try chrome lugnuts with a skinny trim ring. Cheap and kinda Ol'sCOOL. Just a suggestion.

Re: New wheel caps need help
im not sure, but the lip on your wheels looks like you could fit a skinny trim ring on it.

Re: New wheel caps need help
Google is your friend. Do a search on babay moon caps, or baby moon hubcaps and you will get several hits.

Re: New wheel caps need help
i've also been searching for about 8 months now to find baby moons for my wheels but i have the 16" 8 lug wheels. you however are in luck. what you need to do to make sure is measure the distance from the tip of the tangs across the center of the wheel.
this cap would probably fit your wheel. http://wheelskin.com/cbm10.html now the description says 10" and up. well for me, my measurement was a red hair under 12". i e-mailed then and got a reply (rather promptly) that they were for pretty much under 11". if you are unsure, i'd say e-mail em. hope it helps.

We have a trailer manufacturer here in Bryan, Tx called Gooseneck Trailer Mfg. They sell chrome baby moon style hubcaps for the trailers with 16 inch wheels and probably have them in stock . You might check your area for a cattle trailer manufacturer and see what they have . Frank

Re: New wheel caps need help
I have a set of wheel vintiques baby moons on my coupe. I even bought them from Summit.
They are mounted on 14" stock Chevy steel wheels that look just like a smaller version of yours. I can't guarantee that those are the right ones for your wheels, but they should have some that are. I went to the wheel vintiques website and downloaded their catalog. That was how I figured out which caps I needed. Larger version: http://www.slonaker.net/gallery/albu...ics/coupe2.jpg Slonaker |

Re: New wheel caps need help
Did those caps from ebay or summit work ? I've been looking for awhile since the dorks at Discount Tire dented mine. I have a 16 inch 8 lug wheel and the cap measures 11 5/8 across the back, inside edge to inside edge. Thanx

Re: New wheel caps need help
They came on the truck when I bought it. I've done some extensive internet research and can't find suitable replacements. I may have to have them pounded out and re-chromed. There is a place called ehubcap.com that said he can get a set from Taiwan, but they're really thin and would probably dent if you chucked a marshmellow at it.
