Re: my 82 pics
Yeah, a 5 on 5 pattern is hard to get what you want at a reasonable price. unless your willing to pay big bucks for rims. Thats why so many people run the Coys they look good and are priced right, and there are a variety of sizes in a 5 on 5 pattern.

Re: my 82 pics
I bought my 6.0L from Hiway Auto in Austin Texas(they deliver). Mine was $1700 delivered. That was just the longblock, no accessories or transmission, or wiring. It had 24,000 miles on it. I've heard that they are cheaper now. Our local yard has one for $600, but it has 90,000 miles on it and I don't know what it comes with.

Re: my 82 pics
I always regretted junking my 5.3 for that 6.0L back when they were in my wife's 2000 GMC. I realized there was a lot that could have been done with the 5.3...like a turbo or supercharger setup...and it would have made impressive power for similar cost to the 6.0 swap. I'm glad I got the 6.0 now for my racetruck though.

Re: my 82 pics
well this will be a a street toy wont be a dd
im giving the 5.3 or 6.0 some thought i can get a 5.3 for nearly nothing the 6.0 they are bit more expensive it whouldnt take long though to save for one then the tranny with some mods cooler an stuff vette serveros stall convertor i think ive decided to scrap my 400sb idea an put it away i need heads and the whole works for it where i could go an get a 5.3 for 400$ or a 6.0 for under a 1000$

Re: my 82 pics
Look for a LS3 or L92 and buy that instead. The can be bought for similar prices as the 6.0, but will make a ton more power with less mods. I believe there's cam only LS3's making 500+ hp.
