4.3 black smoke.. want to fix today if i can
my truck has been acting up lately, when just running in park you can see black smoke coming out, you stomp on it and it shoots a big cloud out.. feels like its lacking power to.. i read about cleaning the IAC but then i read it wont loose power.. either way i took the TB off and cleaned it.. seemed to help a little but not much... sooo whats the deal guys? i know its rich

just put a new O2 sensor.. didnt make a noticble differnce..

Sounds like it could be several things . If it is showing a Service Engine soon code , check it . I had one that sounds close and it had a bad EGR valve . You might remove it and check it .

tried a differnt egr valve.. no good.. im gona go try some other stuff
