My truck is Metallic Light blue and my upholstery blue, I don't know what to do with my interior trims (doors and dash) because I removed all the woodgrain finish with paint remover and painted the dash bezel black. I can't decide a color to paint them... give me some ideas please

i have pieces of cut stainless steel in mine its the newer genre but it looks like you could fab something like that for yours

I went with pre-fabbed billet aluminum pieces from LMC. I like the way the dash one looks like it wraps right to the passenger door (1st pic).

jason did you make the seat console yourself? that looks like what id like to do for my truck.. if ya made it yourself do you have plans?
also is that the jc whitney headliner? how was that to install? good fit?

Nah, that console came with the old 85 heavy half I sold last year. I wish I knew where the guy got it, if I run into him again I'll have to ask. It used to be blue and I shot it with some dupli-color vinyl dye from the parts house when I went with the green interior. That headliner is a highliner. Chris Lucas sells them in his store. I've seen that cup holder before, a company called AW Direct sells them, they sell mostly heavy work truck and tow truck stuff

For an added touch you could paint the billet pieces to match the color of the truck.

I did diamond plate on the doors. Right now, the dash is just the factory brushed aluminum. I'm probably going to end up doing something totally different to the dash with diamond plate. I've just got too many other things going on the project right now.

I saw that in your update thread, that's a neat look too. I've also seen pics here, can't remember which member, they had the same pieces as us but had polished them to a high lustre.

What do you think of these? Not mine, but maybe someone will recognize them? the top one had new vinal over the dash, the bottom 2 are fibre glasses over and all 3 have billet inserts.
