Tire Size for reshoe
Fella's,
I am planning on restoring my wheels to original white paint on the original 5 lug steel rims. I plan on painting white and putting the steel wheel covers with blue bowtie back on. I currently am running rally rims with covers with the gold bow tie on 235/75R/15 TRANS TRACs (firestone) tread is almost gone and I am wondering if you guys: 1. Recommend the 235 on the original 15 inch rims 2. Choose between BF Goodrich TA Radials or Dunlops which would you ride with? Both tired are low $80.00 apiece. what say you? |

Personally I prefer the 255/70x15 on ralleys. Gives you a little more tread width at the same height. TAs seem to be the preferred tires on here, but both are probably good. I have not run many Dunlops lately, but liked them in the past.

Re: Tire Size for reshoe
A little taller is really what you need. As suggested
the 255/75/15's look really good. I run 275/60/15's and like the look of them but to each his/her own. BFG T/A's are hard to beat..... Last edited by Woody; 08-06-2008 at 08:39 PM. |
