Steering question????? Please help!

This may sound odd but I have never been in another vehicle that feels like this.
In my 82 Chevy with power steering.... it seems VERY free and Easy to turn. I have checked everything I know to check. There is no slack in all of the steering components. It seems that the steering is VERY sensitive and precise. Is this normal or ?????????????

Yeah. My 81' has ultra-smooth steering too. I always thought it was kind of weird too, but I guess this thread answers that!

because of Pop Eye Arms in vehicles without it.

wasnt meant to have any road feel grip just meant to be effortless.
