How???

Ok i have a major problem and i have no idea what is making this do what it is. ok i just had my bed taken off my 79, i got it back and went to hook up the tail lights, i hooked them up and tested them. when i turn on the turn signals (right or left it dont matter) both of the tail lights flash like the caution lights are on. but the brake lights work and so do the reverse lights and when the headlights are on. i have no rightly idea of what has casued this to happen, any ideas??

Re: How???

I had the same problem with mine when I bought it. My turn signals where tied together looked like the hazzards where on when I put the turn signal on in either direction.

Re: How???

Make sure the yellow(left turn) and the green(right turn) aren't tied together. They could have gotten pinched between the bed and somthing while re installing the bed.

Re: How???

I second the ground issue . The 12 volt signal will seek a ground , even if it is through other bulbs .
