Need longer front soft brake line - help!
Well, I finally got around to cutting some stock lower arms so the airbags dont rub (and I sit a lot lower) but now my soft brake lines are too short. They reach, but they are tight and old...so I need new ones, but they need to be longer than stock. Truck is a 68 C10 longbed, front drums.
I did some searching and someone mentioned that the 3/4 ton lines are longer but share the same ends. According to an old LMC catalog I have they are the same part number, so Im guessing they are not any longer, anyone have any info on this? Obviously I am open to any other ideas as well. I am hoping to get everything finished up this weekend and back on the road monday so a custom stainless order isnt really in the cards, an off the shelp parts store solution would be the best. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated |

Re: Need longer front soft brake line - help!
You can use NAPA's site to confirm length and ends. Just look up your truck, note the length and end types and then try some others. I used 69 Camaro hoses on my Chevelle to fit disks, they may be long enough for your application.

Re: Need longer front soft brake line - help!
thanks for the info, wasnt aware they had that info. Looks like front hoses from a 67 Chevy II should work, almost two inches longer and the same ends....we'll see
thanks again |
