Window regulators???

So is there some kind of trick to putting the windows on power regulators? I spent a couple hours cussing at my truck while I was trying to get my new power regulators installed... I finally got them on there, but I'm convinced that someone know some type of a short cut.

You guys gotta know something I don't!

Re: Window regulators???

if im not mistaken isnt the regulators different with power windowsthan manuals? i know that on manuals ( never really had power windows in my trucks) you have to loosen the vent window so you can move that and take out bolts on the regulator so you can shift stuff around
im sure some of the power window guys can chime in here too

Re: Window regulators???

Well, thats what it took to take the manual out and put the power in.

I completely reomoved the vent window on each side. But the problem that I ran into was getting those dang wheels in the track. I almost couldn't ever get them lined up right.
