Anyone what at 1952 292 engine??
Guy down the street has one for sale he bought years ago to put in a 54 car. He said the conversion was to much work so he go a 235. It came out of a 52 school bus, still turns over with a wrench and has been stored inside so it isn't rusted up. He want $200 for it and it looked like he had the bellhousing and flywheel in another pile.
Email me at reddogeb@yahoo.com if you want more info. |

Guys built them up to race back in the 50's but they are big and heavy.
I've been thinking on something like that for the early race car style roadster I am collecting pieces for but it would cost more for gas to go get it then the engine cost at he moment. |

My thoughts too. There was guy in the late 60's in Eugene that had one bored, stroked and injected in a rail that would run with SBC's. Biggest advantage is the cross flow head and more main bearings.
