Does the tailgate on your 88-98 Chevrolet truck look like it lost a fight with a wrecking ball? Will it not open, or close because it's so beat up or rusted?

I have a brand new take off tailgate from a 96 Chevrolet truck. This was removed when the truck was new and stored in my garage since then. The paint is in excellent condition and there are no dings, dents or rust.

There is one very small scratch on the inside of the tailgate that I tried to show in the picture. Beyond that the tailgate is perfect. 450.00
