Sounds like we just need to tub yours Hoffman, Real easy job too, cut a little plywood, and double up your wheel wells, Bring her down i ll take care of it for you.15x12's and some 31x16.5 QTP Hoosiers should work just fine.

Re: tubbed suburbans?
Thanks for the pics. really simple? i love the pro street look, would look badass if i did it. Id have to shorten up my axle dont I. Could i just buy a 5 lug 10 bolt axle out of a diff vehicle and just throw a posi in? how much does it cost to shorten an axle?

There's several variables in shortening a diff, depending on your intended use. Just to give you an idea, a set of custom length Moser axles are ~$325.00. Depending on what diff you use say like a 9" sometimes you can get your stock axles shortened and re-splined for a little less $$. Then you have to shorten the housing (I usually charge $150+ depending on total amount of work), gears, locker, brakes, etc. Another option would be to get your wheels with a deep backspacing so you can use your current diff.

Re: tubbed suburbans?
Thanks for the info. Was thinking of just shortening the 12 bolt thats in the truck right now but its a 6 lug ! Any good, wide 6 lug rims around the net? Also this is going to be my daily driver, shortend rear end suck for daily driving? I have a LT1 350 out of a 98 camaro. gonna buy agressive cam, headers, new throttle body, try and hop it up to 400 horse. If i were to go down the pro street way, id buy one of those fiberglass hoords with the 4inch cowl. Think id hook up good with some fat slicks, a posi and a 400 horse 350?

I have a set of 15x12 chevy late model ralleys that would bolt right on there without any narrowing or changing the bolt pattern 150.00 bucks for both the rears. then all you need is a set of 15x7 for the front of any 70's or 80's 4 wd blazer or truck.
