Post 73 to what year

Just wondering if 73 front fenders will fit a 79. What is a decent price to ask for 73 original fenders that are in good shape?

The 73 fenders will work as far as I know on a 79. I dont believe there were ANY differences in them. Where are you located? I have some fenders for sale off of a 76. Also doors, cab, short bed, Dana 60 Rearend w/4:10 posi, etc etc.

I am in Paris TX. 100 miles NE of Dallas.

I'm located in Greensboro, NC. I'm able to get my hands on some 73 fenders that are in good shape. He is asking 100.00 a piece for them. Is that reasonable? also what are you asking for the dana 60?

I will take $225 for the Dana. I have already used it in a 76 Chevy and I have the leaf springs as well but you wouldnt need them I doubt plus that would just add more weight to ship. lol This is a very heavy rearend if you arent real familiar with them and would probably be expensive to ship. I havent placed an ad on here for it yet but if it doesnt sell within the next month I will probably put it on Ebay.

$100 seems a bit high to me but I live in Texas so theres plenty of these trucks around to gather parts from that havent been subjected to the moisture and salt like some places.

The fenders fit 73-80. My concern with the older ones would be rust. The design changed very slightly in 76 in an attempt to discourage rust from forming. This may not be a concern in NC, but where I'm from, we worry about rust.

As stated, fenders from 73-80 are the same. I would not pay $100 apiece for them unless they are pristine. You can get some quality Sherman (USA made from original die) replacements for less than that. Check the bottoms for bondo and major rust..
