Post Heads up.

My 87 was stolen on Friday from Greenville, TX. Mine was one of three stolen on Friday. From what I understand, there is some type of theft ring in the Dallas area that hits the suburbs for these year model trucks. Greenville is 50mi. east of Dallas. Police told me don't count on a recovery. Hopefully insurance will pay out.

Sorry to hear about your Burb. Just p*sses me off when I hear about someones truck getting stolen. Hopefully you can find out who did it and use a little back alley justice on them. Seems like that's the only thing that can stop these lowlifes. Hopefully you get it back in good shape, or if not, you can find another.

Hey dropped87 I live in Paris and am going looking around salvage yards here today and later in the week as well. If I knew what I was looking for I could keep an eye out for ya. I would highly doubt any place here would have any hot items but then again you never know where that kind of stuff will end up. Anyway just thought it wouldnt hurt.

Here are the lastest pics I have: http://www.geocities.com/lewimt/87chevy.

Since these pics it has been raised up a little, and sports some Eagle 15x8's and Road Hugger 275/60's..

Dropped '87,

Sorry to hear about your loss. That was a nice truck. If I see it I'll call the police. I know a few people in my area that have had theirs broken into. Hope the insurance company pays up. Take every receipt you have and show it to them.

I try to deter thieves with an alarm system. I know if they want the truck they'll get it but I will not make it an easy traget.

Thanks for the heads up!!!
