my wife HATES my obsession with my 69 chevy

My wife of 14 years encourages me to go work on mine. Especially since I haven't worked on it for so long. My son (8) and I spent all day yesterday working on my 70 K10. Good day!

My wife loves my truck and wont let me sell but she makes it real hard to find time to work on it but i know it will all come together soon

But I am fortunate, I have a great wife that trusts me not to be stupid about spending money on my projects and encourages me to be in the garage when appropriate.
It is tough to train them, it's better to find one that is right for you in the first place, one that understands you.

all great posts guys. and fortunately for me, i do have a great wife also and easy to get along with. long as I spend money conservatively within our budget she doesn't care at all. and I still make sure I spend time with her so it all works out. great posts guys thanks!

I'm was in the same boat. My girlfriends friend mentioned to me at HH one night about a truck his friend had for sale. She was happy about it for me.. until I started spending more time with it than her. Turns out it was a good trade.
