Got a question here a simple one..
On the front of my 72 I have a 1 1/2 sectioned crossmember, firestone bags and strong arms. The question is can I run a dropped spindle with this set-up if so how much of a drop spindle?

FRENCHBLUE72,... I think most of the drop spindles are 2.5" drop. I don't see why you couldn't run them.
I think the only time there is a problem,... is when you combine dropped spindles, with the old style (DJM for example) dropped a-arms that have a "dropped spring pocket". StrongArms won't be a problem.

I had 2.5" spindles, Stones, & a sectioned crossmember on my 68 before I met Porter.

Obviously you know what's best for your situation but I'm the type of guy that starts with the foundation and then builds on top. That is why I have put most of my resources into my chassis/drivetrain without even looking at body/int items. My bare frame w/ f+r DM's is documented in my build in my sig. Check it out if you like and good luck with your project. Josh
