window help

replacing door seals & felts. can't get the windows out of tracks or track mounts loose. been soaking p-b blast afraind to but heat to it & crack glass. am i missing something here. it is a rust bucket most can't beleive i have bothered to work on something so rusted out. have redone bottom in & out of worst (passenger) door so far. got to seal up windows better tho for the winter. i live in the snow belt. have new seals but got to seal drafts.
