Has anyone put shoulder belts in a 64-66 and what kind did you use? How did you attach them at the top? I have so many questions on this because mine are not equipped with any type of belt and I would feel safer with a shoulder belt set up. Thanks in advance guys

I installed a three-point belt system in my '63. I got my kit from Classic, IIRC. I mounted the top part of the shoulder harness just above the seat on the B-pillar.

I used the 98 Silverado belts to match my seat. I put the bosses in when I did the big window conversion. You can see the hole where the shoulder harness mounts in the the pic. The recoil unit mounts just behind the door pillar. The other option you have is to purchase a newer Silverado seat that has the belts built into the seat.

I'm gonna use floor-mounted shoulder harnesses. A bit of a pain, but I can securely mount them, and they're about as safe as it gets.

Plus, you get the OG racecar look.

Not bad, but a bit too tuner-car for my tastes.

I'll probably use the wescos, black with the chrome lift-levers, since I'm looking for something safe, low-key, and unobtrusive.

Plus, with a suburban, I've got to buy quite a few...
