why?

delayed posting on this one but last weekend i finnally went into my truc to install a t-stat..
it was cold no matter how hard i romped it.. never got up to the 180 mark
why would you install this in a 4x4?
i still have it if anyone wants it for free...

plllease teach me why the PO installed this?
if you look close it's just forced completely open..
ive never overheated or come close

its a failsafe thermostat it is designed to lock open when it goes bad so if your on the road you will not over heat. its a really good idea you just need a new one.

ME EITHER! who sells failsafe t-stats? Mine always stick shut when they go bad!
