73 and up Junkyard Parts

For all you central Texas guys here there are a BUNCH! of 73 and up Chevys and GMCs in the Waco U-Pull-It that just opened up this week. From what I could see there a a ton of good parts to be had pretty cheap.

Re: 73 and up Junkyard Parts

That's the downside to being way up here in the nipple of Texas. All the good stuff is way down south!

I really need a set of doors too. I may have to find some, the see if I can get someone to drop them off in Amarillo via uship.com

Re: 73 and up Junkyard Parts

No Blazers, bucket seats or center consoles that I saw. Tons of doors though, most in decent shape as far as I could see. Anyone looking for Rallys or big blocks would be happy too. I wasn't really looking for 73 and up stuff though. I have a 69. Just thought you guys would be interested.

Re: 73 and up Junkyard Parts

If there is any specific thing someone is looking for I'll probably be going back out there tomorrow so I can take a look. If I go I'll take the camera.

Re: 73 and up Junkyard Parts

Hey Jim, thanks. I need a set of doors from a 77-87. Rust free, clean, dings ok, but no dents.

Would appreciate any pics and/or prices if you have the opportunity.

Re: 73 and up Junkyard Parts

That bad boy looks good! If I were to do it, though it would take all the fun out of replacing the floor pans and rockers this weekend! Just got those parts from Classic yesterday and a friend is coming over tomorrow to cut out the old and weld in the new.

Re: 73 and up Junkyard Parts

I don't really know what doors go for on your year model. On a 69 it would be worth buying the cab just for the doors if they are truly rust free at that price.
