50 pick-up/S-10 Chassis swap

Would like to put my 50 sheet metal on a S-10 Blaszer chassis... can anyone give me a year, pointers, or a web site to aid me in this task?

re

i was going to do the s-10 frame on my 53 i had. i measured the front cab mount width and is was really close. and if you go w/ a londbed s-10 you could even use the floor from the bed for the inside of you bed the bed, this is what my buddy did i was my old 53 that i sold him but he did have the bed side made to his specs from a local machine close to us

I either read or was told that a long bed S-10 would work for the 50's truck with minor cab mount fabrication. All the conversion kits are available for a 350 to bolt in the frame just hunt around the internet.

my buddy stubbed the front w/ a nova sub frame. the best thing to to do is find a 88-93 s-10 cuz the way im told is that a v-8 will bolt to the trans but dont quote on it tho

The only reason any '88 and up S-10 w/700R-4 will work is if it came with a 4.3L. That motor has the 90deg bolt pattern that bolts directly to a Chevy V-8. The 2.8L has a 60deg bolt pattern and less clutch packs. Just to let you know.
