bags will not air up.
I asked one of my techs to pull my truck in last night before he left the shop...he called me only to say that the readout for my bags said (0) all all corners, that he did not hear my compressor turning on, and that the switches were not working. The truck is stuck in full drop. The system is air ride tech...does anyone have any ideas where I should start...or what could have happened?? It was very cold today if that helps.

Re: bags will not air up.
Fuse blown for your switch box? If it's blown you aren't going to get a signal to the switches. In turn the compressor wont kick on due to it not having had a load put on it. My gauges only read when there's air in them, since you're aired out they should be on 0. Of course if the fuse is blown you probably have a shorted wire somewhere.

If the fuse is blown...wouldnt it cut power to the readout screen to? (I can see the readout)

Re: bags will not air up.
Verify the compressors have power going to them.

Re: bags will not air up.
Process of elimination.. Whats getting power and what isnt, should be able to track the problem down. Im sure you have a fuse to the compressor too.

Re: bags will not air up.
I'm going to guess that you have a fuse blown to the compressor. If the compressor tries to kick on while the truck is turned off it can create a heavy amp draw and blow the fuse. If you have a slight leak in the system, it will drain everything and won't allow you to air up.

Re: bags will not air up.
Just an FYI- I "always" leave my truck at ride height when sitting overnight. That way I know if I have a leak as soon as I see what height the truck is at.

Re: bags will not air up.
Hmm, I see the logic behind that but I thought it was advised to air em out when they weren't being driven. Mine loses less than 10 pounds in 24 hours, which is difficult to see without checking the gauges.

Re: bags will not air up.
Loosing a slight amount of air is common. I just don't want to find I have a steady leak after I have left the garage.
