Alright guys well I ordered all my braided fuel line and AN fittings and it gets here Tuesday. My question is what is the best way to cut the braided line, I have heard several techniques all which tell you too wrap the fuel line tight with electrical tape or duct tape where you are going to cut it. What do you guys use to cut it. Some people say a fine tooth hacksaw, some a cut off wheel, a wood chisel, and a tool similar too a bolt cutter. Whats your thoughts and experiences with cutting it?

I've used both cut off wheel and bolt/cable cutters. Both work well.
The key is to use the same fitting make as the hose. Also be patient and bring alot of band aids

I agree 100% with Jim, I found a little soap help, I know they have an assy lube but I found soap cheaper and worked as well

cut off wheel, tape and wd40. Make sure to blow it out good to get any shavings out before you use the hose.

Well the stuff gets here tommorow so I am going to try cutting it with the cut off wheel. If I run into any problems I will let you guys know. Thanks for the good advice

i've had my best fastest results with a 3"cutoff wheel and wrapping with duct tape

Same as above. Very important to make sure the hose is clean before you assemble. I'm messing with some braided line right now and tape isn't holding it well for some reason, so I'm going to try a zip tie as well and see if that helps.

The best tape is the real strong stuff with the string in the tape.

Start out by taking a small needle and poking yourself in the finger tips over and over to get a feel for putting the ends on LOL! But ya anyway I use a metal chop saw, or like they said a cut off wheel, after you tape and cut tap the side of the hose to knock out the ground rubber, a bit of lube on the end and install the fitting oh and measure 3 times cut once.

fiberglass impregnated tape (looks like it has white string in it) & the thinnest cutting wheel you can buy. i use .032 x 4" good luck be patient

I have a good cut off saw, I might have to give that a try, I hadn't thought about using that.

keep some really good sharp side cutters around incase the braid frays at all.

Well I am more then half way done putting the fuel line in and putting all the fittings on. I found zip tying with a small zip tie and then wrapping it with the really stretchy type electrical tape works really good. I am really happy with the way its coming out and how it looks.
