Does it have to be out of a 72? I have a 67 parts truck that you can have the speedo if you want.

What makes you sureit`s the speedometer and not a broken cable from 35-40 years of nobody libing it?Was there noise for awhile before it broke?

i took the gauges out because i got a white face conversion kit on the way and i took the speedo out to see if i can roll the miles to what my engine has and broke the thing holding the miles together...
