finally brought my truck home!!

i believe it to be a 50. i named it forrestry gump.

its gettin a motor, tranny, slam job and drive it!!!

its an old forestry truck, hence the name!! all original paint except the bed sides. it had a utility bed with the stock fenders, but that was removed and sold before i aquired the truck. even got the original baby spots! heres some pics.

Re: finally brought my truck home!!

Do a search on "stock column conversion" there is a thread about it with a link to a company that makes a lower bearing retainer for the stock tube. All you need is a big pipe cutter, hacksaw and welder. Here is a link to the part: http://www.classicparts.com/1947-59-...ctinfo/76-987/

Re: finally brought my truck home!!

I think the horse had the worst part!
You "did real good"
Please don't mess with that paint that is on there, you have a keeper
What are your plans for the chassis and suspension, engine and transmission?
