56 with 81 TA sub-frame
I have a donor 81 TA for my 56. I am using the sub-frame and the rear 12 bolt with discs. What is a good donor for a steering column without too many mods? I am not planning to buy a new column. Any help? Thanks

Re: 56 with 81 TA sub-frame
I personally like the 70"s Chevy van column, that is the same design that flaming river and ididit uses.

Chevy van that is minus the ignition switch in the column. Clean columns easy to find.

Re: 56 with 81 TA sub-frame
I have a 1985 Chevy van in my truck, comes with hi-low beam switch, cruise, tranny gear selector and the electrical plugs fit most after marker wiring harness.
