Local junkyards have nothing. I will buy a new one if I have to, but since I am cheap I would like to find a used one. What do you have? I need a price shipped to Brookings, SD 57006.
This is going on my 1967 292 so I need an HEI from a non-computer controlled vehicle.

I have one but it's an external coil set-up that I'd prefer to sell with some A/C brackets I have. I'll be posting it up in the next few days, but it won't be cheap. Sounds like you need a basic 'coil in cap HEI' and I'm sure someone will come along soon with one.

Shawn, I have one... does $50 bucks plus shipping work for you.. it is currently on a running 250 at the moment but for you ill pull it... and no the 250 is not currently in a truck.... motor came out of a non computer 1983 c10... IM jealous of your 292!!!! this must be in your new one ton???? I just took two pics but my camera just died

Mike, since you wouldn't sell me your dump truck, I won't go a penny over $25...just kidding. Let me know how much shipping will be, and then I'll try to talk you down a little

I don't need a picture. This is the one with the coil in the cap, correct?

The motor is in my dump truck. It sure seems like a powerful motor. I have no plans to replace it with a V8. Actually, if this thing ever "dies", I will probably rebuild it, even if it costs more than a 350.

Sounds liek aplan.. I cant believe it will be more than 10 bucks MOST.... I loved the HEI swap on my 74 250 when I did it, and I'm thinkin the extra 42 ci will be icing on the top.... and yes the coil is in the cap... My Hei on my 250 came out of an 82 so it should do you nicely... ill pull it today, box it, and get a quote on monday if that's allright... Ill send the plug wires too to save you some $$$$ also...
